Italian nurse bequeathed 600 000 euros to her hospital

A hospital employee bequeathed to her medical institute located in Trieste of 600 thousand euros, reports Il Piccolo. Maria Bologna, a former nurse, died last year at the age of 95. She remained without relatives after the death of her son and husband. Therefore, she decided to give all of her savings to the hospital where she worked all her life.

Six hundred thousand euros were accepted in the budget of the hospital for 2018-2020. The money will be spent on the construction of a new wardrobe for 450 lockers, equipment for a blood transfusion unit for the treatment of infectious diseases, and repairs to the canteen and the entrance to the hospital.
